So… You’re Staring at a Positive Pregnancy Test

Your heart is racing. Your mind won’t stop spinning.
  • Maybe this wasn’t in the plan.
  • Maybe it came too soon.
  • Maybe you are ashamed or want to keep it a secret.
  • Maybe you’re scared, feeling alone, or already overwhelmed by symptoms.
Or maybe… you’re picturing a tiny face and quietly wondering:
How would I even do this?

Could I actually do this?

Pause for a second…Take a deep breath. You’re not alone. You’re not the first to feel this way. And you don’t need to have it all figured out today. What do you need? Someone in your corner. That’s where we come in.

Parenting Might Feel Big — Because It Is

Let’s be real. Raising a child is a big deal. It’s life-changing — in the best and hardest ways.
It’s okay if you’re feeling:
  • Hopeful or Hopeless
  • Anxious or Excited
  • Numb, scared or alone
  • Overwhelmed
  • Confused
  • Or maybe… all of the above.
These emotions don’t disqualify you from being a great parent. They just mean you’re human.

And guess what? If you’re willing to learn, ask questions, and reach out — you already have what it takes to begin.

So if you’re wondering,
Can I do this?

Most people don’t feel fully ready at first — and that’s okay. Parenting starts with a willingness to learn and ask for help. You don’t have to have everything figured out today.

What support is available if I choose to parent?

Free support may include baby supplies, parenting classes, one-on-one mentoring, emotional support, and referrals for housing, job training, or other needs. You don’t have to do this alone.

Can I be a good parent if I’m single, in school, or working?

Yes. Many parents start in less-than-perfect circumstances. With the right support system, parenting is possible — and you are not alone in it.

Adoption Is Parenting, Too

Choosing to carry your baby and place them for adoption is parenting. It is parenting in the truest sense — because you are choosing to love the baby forming inside of you. You are choosing protection, care, and sacrifice. You are choosing to give your child the gift of life and the opportunity to be raised by a family who is ready to step into that role.

Adoption isn’t “giving up.”
It is giving lovegiving life, and giving a future.
You are still making decisions for your baby.
You are still putting their needs first.

You are still acting out of courage and compassion. That matters.
If you’d like to learn more about adoption, understand your options, or talk through what that journey could look like, we’re here to help.
